Goalie Cal Petersen has agreed to a three-year, $15 million contract extension with the Los Angeles Kings, the team announced Wednesday.

Petersen's extension begins in the 2022-23 season.

With training camp on the horizon, the Edmonton Oilers shored up some depth at the forward position Saturday, agreeing to terms with right wing Kailer Yamamoto on a one-year contract extension.

The Chicago Blackhawks have agreed to an entry-level contract with defenseman Nolan Allan, their first-round pick in this year's NHL draft.

Zach Parise agreed to terms on a contract with the New York Islanders on Friday. No details of the contract were disclosed.

The 37-year-old forward had the final four seasons of his 13-year, $98 million contract ($7.54 million average annual value) bought out by the Minnesota Wild on July 13.

The Ottawa Senators have agreed to a six-year, $29.85 million contract with right winger Drake Batherson, the team announced Friday.

Batherson, 23, skated in all 56 of the Senators' games last season, ranking second on the team with 17 goals while adding 17 assists before becoming a restricted free agent.

Colton Parayko's name is out of trade rumors and in the St. Louis Blues' long-term plans after he agreed to terms Wednesday on an eight-year, $52 million contract.
